Lime Rock Resources Appoints Michelle Phillips as Vice President of Land

Houston, Texas — April 5, 2023 — Lime Rock Resources (“Lime Rock”), a Houston-based energy private equity firm focused on acquiring, operating, and improving producing oil and gas properties in the United States, today announced the appointment of Michelle Phillips as Vice President of Land. Ms. Phillips brings more than two decades of experience in land management, mineral rights, and upstream oil and gas operations across multiple U.S. basins.

In her new role, Ms. Phillips will lead all aspects of land strategy and execution for Lime Rock Resources, including leasehold management, land negotiations, and surface use coordination. She will work closely with Lime Rock’s operations, legal, and business development teams to support ongoing acquisitions and maximize the value of existing assets.

Prior to joining Lime Rock, Ms. Phillips held senior land and asset management roles at several upstream operators and private equity-backed platforms, where she led complex land negotiations and managed multi-basin portfolios across the Permian, Eagle Ford, and Mid-Continent regions.

Ms. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma and is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL).
