Lime Rock Resources is acquiring a diverse set of oil and gas producing properties in selected oil and gas basins in the United States.
It has three current core regions.
Lime Rock Resources has made five major acquisitions in the Mid-Continent Region since 2006 and now has a mix of operated and non-operated oil and gas properties in the area. In 2006, Lime Rock Resources acquired the Reklaw Field and interests in the Doyle Creek Fields, all in East Texas. In 2007, the team added to its operations in the Mid-Continent Region with the acquisition of the Putnam Field in Oklahoma. And in early 2010, in separate transactions, it acquired the Potato Hills and WEHLU fields, both also in Oklahoma.
Lime Rock Resources has made four major acquisitions in the Permian Basin since 2006. In 2006, it acquired working interests in the Red Lake area. In 2007, Lime Rock Resources team added to its properties in the Permian Basin with a major acquisition of operated oil and gas properties. In 2008, it completed two more acquisitions: an acquisition of a new large Permian Basin property package from an independent oil and gas producer and the acquisition of additional interests in properties acquired in 2006. It added to this position with an additional small asset purchase in 2010.
Lime Rock Resources made its first acquisition in the onshore Texas Gulf Coast region in 2007 and made an additional small acquisition in 2010. It is actively seeking to add other highly predictable, mature onshore and offshore oil and gas producing properties to its operations in the region.
