Lime Rock Resources acquires, operates, and improves lower-risk oil and gas properties in the United States. Through three private Lime Rock Resources funds and LRR Energy, the team seeks to acquire a diverse group of proved oil and gas properties to provide its private investors with attractive long-term returns.

Based in Houston, the Lime Rock Resources team combines extensive interdisciplinary expertise in both energy company operations and energy finance. With experience in almost all the major oil and gas basins in the United States, the team has the broad network of relationships necessary to successfully execute its strategy.

Lime Rock Resources acquires long-lived, producing, primarily proved oil and gas properties with development opportunities. The team seeks to improve operational and financial performance of acquired properties through direct operations. It manages its properties to provide cash distributions to its investors while enhancing the properties near- and long-term value. Lime Rock Resources’ investors are a broad group of private capital sources, including some of the largest endowments, foundations, and pension funds in the United States.
